When being an individual traveler, early planning is a must. Plus, you can get discounts on roundtrip air fares, accommodations, tour packages, etc if you make advance reservations. Don't forget an itinerary, many are available on-line where you can also get a lot of suggestions and good reviews. Do your research to avoid or minimize unfavorable experiences.

Knowing your expenses in advance gives you a lot of advantage. For me, after paying for the airfare and the 50% accommodation expenses, I divided the balance amount into 50 days till our trip. I only need to save TWD200/day to cover the remaining expenses! Not bad. I also told fellow travellers to save some money so they can have their own to spend while in Bohol.

Here's hoping for a stress-free Bohol adventure!
